How to Customize Glass Bottles with Logo Printing

Custom logo printing turns a generic bottle into your brand. Here are the main decoration methods used in glass packaging.

1. Screen printing

The most common method. Ink is pressed through a mesh onto the glass.

  • Best for: bold logos, 1-2 colors
  • Durability: good
  • Cost: low
  • MOQ: 5,000 pcs

2. Hot stamping

A metallic foil is heat-pressed onto the bottle.

  • Best for: luxury brands, gold/silver logos
  • Durability: very good
  • Cost: medium
  • MOQ: 5,000 pcs

3. Labeling

A self-adhesive label is applied by machine.

  • Best for: startups, small batches
  • Durability: medium
  • Cost: lowest
  • MOQ: 1,000 pcs
  • Downside: can peel over time

4. Frosting / acid etching

The glass surface is chemically treated to a matte finish.

  • Best for: premium serums, perfumes
  • Durability: permanent
  • Cost: high
  • MOQ: 10,000 pcs

5. UV coating

A colored or gradient coating is sprayed onto the bottle.

  • Best for: gradient, pastel bottles
  • Durability: good
  • MOQ: 10,000 pcs

Which method should you choose?

For most new brands, screen printing + clear glass gives the best balance of cost, quality and MOQ.
